The systems consist of either connected or individually operated panels, which can either be floor supported on a shallow track which typically protrudes only 4mm above a floor surface or be totally suspended with no floor track. Operated simply by a handle, the panels close flat, flush and rigid, with the end panel functioning as a door if required. Designed to a high quality, they provide long lasting use and can be decorated to match existing decoration. Alternatively, they can be supplied in other finishes such as a robust melamine or wood veneer.
As an alternative to a conventional partition wall, these folding partitions or movable walls are intended to achieve the same function whilst in place, but fold or stack in a suitable place when not required.
Available in a wide variety of specifications, including glazed and fire resistant, a movable wall is suitable for many applications including offices, schools, hotels and other commercial premises.
